Educational Criteria :
A candidate who are applying for the Project Engineer position at Wipro from the 2025 batch must meet specific educational criteria. A candidate is needed to have secured at least 60% marks in both their 10th and 12th standard examinations. For graduation, a minimum of 60% or a CGPA of 6, or an equivalent score as per university guidelines, is needed. Only full-time courses are considered eligible.
A candidate is allowed to have one backlog at the time of assessment. However, all backlogs must be cleared before the completion of the 8th semester. A candidate can have a maximum of three years of educational gap is permitted, but only between the 10th standard and the commencement of graduation. No gaps are allowed during the graduation period, and a candidate must complete their B.E. or B.Tech degree within four years.
A candidate who have completed their 10th and 12th standard through open schooling or distance education are eligible to apply. However, graduation must be completed through a full-time, regular program. Wipro is hiring for Project Engineer Role for 2025 Freshers | Service agreement:
The service agreement requires a candidate to commit to a period of 12 months following their joining. In case of early termination, a pro-rata amount of INR 75,000 will be applicable as per the agreement conditions.
Selection process :
The selection process includes multiple stages to evaluate a candidate thoroughly.
In the first round, A candidate will take an online assessment for 128 minutes. It contains of three sections:
- Aptitude Test: This have a logical ability, quantitative ability, and verbal (English) ability, with a duration of 48 minutes.
- Online Programming Test: A candidates will solve two coding problems within 60 minutes. A candidate can choose from programming languages like Java, C, C++, or Python for this section.
- Written Communication Test: A candidates will write an essay, with a duration of 20 minutes.
The second round is a Business Discussion, where a candidate’s technical and analytical skills, along with their suitability for the role, are assessed.
The third round is an HR Discussion, focusing on a candidate’s overall fit within the organization, communication skills, and other key aspects.
