Responsibilities:
A candidate will be responsible for developing applications and scripts using Python while following the Agile development methodology. Working under the guidance of a Senior Developer, A candidate will create and implement software solutions based on detailed requirements and designs. A candidate’s work includes deploying applications and scripts on various AWS resources, such as Lambda and ECS.
A candidate ensures that all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are followed. This involve documenting requirement specifications, preparing detailed design documents, coding modules, and performing testing. Genpact Fresher Hiring as Lead Consultant Python Developer | Eligibility Criteria :
A candidate must have a degree in Technology, Engineering, or MCA. A candidate should be proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in databases like MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Hands-on experience with Python packages such as pandas and numpy is necessary, along with knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts in Python.
A candidate should have experience in developing applications following Agile methodology and Scrum practices. Practical knowledge of Flask (preferred) or Django is necessary, as well as experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB. Strong expertise in AWS services, including AWS Lambda, RDS, EC2, API Gateway, CloudFormation, SAM, Transfer Family, and CloudWatch, is also required.
A solid understanding of XML, JSON, REST API, and SOAP is important. The ability to review and debug code effectively is essential, along with the capability to work with structured and unstructured data from various sources. Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector will be preferred but not mandatory.
Good written and verbal communication skills are required for this position. A candidate should be able to build strong relationships with their team, peers, and clients. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical specialists and clients are necessary.
