Candidate is responsible for programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support of system application software while adhering to MasterCard’s standards, processes and best practices. By following industry best practices that candidate ensures the delivery of high quality, secure and scalable software solutions based on technical specifications and design artifacts within expected timeframes and budget constraints.
Candidate conducts research, creates and evaluates technical solution alternatives to meet business needs. By actively participating in solution development, candidate ensures the best possible outcomes for software applications. Candidate creates systems and testing documentation per department standards that ensuring clarity and compliance.
Candidate follows standardized development and testing practices to maintain compliance with audit requirements. By adhering to MasterCard’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes that candidate contributes to the reliability and integrity of software solutions. Candidate also supports the collection and reporting of project and software metrics to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications:
Candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or possesses equivalent work experience. With a foundational understanding of software engineering principles that candidate is well-equipped to contribute to software development projects and technical problem solving.
Candidate has a basic understanding and knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies which enables effective participation in the software development lifecycle. Through academic learning or practical exposure that candidate demonstrates the ability to apply engineering principles to software design, development and maintenance.
Candidate has between 0 to 12 months of experience in the software engineering field, gaining hands-on exposure to coding, debugging, testing and software implementation. With a strong eagerness to learn and grow, candidate is ready to take on new challenges and enhance technical proficiency in a dynamic work environment.
