This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer to be part of our IT Hosted Solutions team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining both Hansen’s and clients’ network infrastructures. Your work will ensure smooth communication, high performance, and strong network security. You will handle hands-on support, routine maintenance, and capacity planning to keep the networks running efficiently.
Beyond day-to-day support, you will also have the chance to contribute to presales activities and provide consulting services for network-related solutions. Your expertise will help clients optimize their network setups and achieve their business goals. Responsibilities:
Candidates will be responsible for supporting and maintaining network infrastructures for Hansen and its clients. This includes conducting regular maintenance, monitoring network performance, and ensuring smooth and secure operations. By keeping track of network status, candidates will help identify potential issues before they affect business operations.
Candidates will also play a key role in planning for network capacity and providing consulting services on infrastructure and security solutions. They will work closely with teams to optimize network performance and ensure that security measures are up to date. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VPN, load balancers, and network protocols to maintain a seamless network experience.
Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in presales activities and contribute to designing network solutions for clients. Their expertise will help businesses implement effective networking strategies. As part of their responsibilities, they will also be included in an on-call roster to provide timely support when needed, ensuring that network-related issues are quickly addressed.
Detailed Eligibility Criteria and Qualification:
Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech qualification and have hands-on experience working with Palo Alto firewalls and SD-WAN technologies like Velo Cloud. A strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking and key protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN is essential for this role. Their expertise in these areas will help ensure smooth and secure network operations.
Candidates should also be familiar with ITIL processes for Incident and Change management. This knowledge will enable them to handle network issues effectively and implement changes in a structured manner. Strong communication and client-facing skills are important, as they will be required to collaborate with teams and interact with clients to provide network solutions and support.
Candidates holding certifications like CCNA or PCNSA (or equivalent) will have an added advantage. These certifications demonstrate their expertise in networking and security, making them well-equipped to manage and troubleshoot complex network environments. Their skills will contribute to building and maintaining reliable network infrastructures.
