This role includes working closely with the PDP Product Owner to define a global roadmap and strategy for implementing a global payments data platform. A candidate will take the lead in gathering and managing requirements, ensuring that functional scoping is carried out effectively if required by management.
An important part of the role is coordinating with various stakeholders across business and operations to support the change process related to the PDP. A candidate ensures that the implementation aligns with the overall global payments data strategy while also considering necessary local changes due to business, regulatory, or compliance needs. By maintaining full traceability of requirements, a candidate sets an example for less experienced members of the Business Analyst team.
To ensure quality, A candidate must conduct regular checks on business requirements, continuously reviewing and evaluating them to maintain accuracy and relevance. The position needs collaboration within the internal team and across the broader business through established governance processes. A candidate must organize and lead meetings with key stakeholders at global, regional, and local levels. These meetings includes Business, Service Delivery, and Software Delivery teams, where user requirements are reviewed, and suitable approaches to functional changes are determined.
Maintaining strict change control standards around needed documentation is another crucial part of the role. Freshers Hiring in Pune | Eligibility Criteria :
A candidate should have extensive experience in the payments industry, gained over several years of working with high-value, low-value, and real-time payments. A candidate should be familiar with ISO payments and have preferably worked in a multi-regional role. A deep understanding of payments data and how it can be used to solve problems is mandatory.
Additionally, A candidate should have exposure to post-payment processing functions such as notifications and advising, transaction monitoring, data provisioning, payment inquiries, and investigations. A strong understanding of various MT and MX message types and how they are processed is needed. A candidate must have familiarity with SWIFT, SWIFTgpi, and other major local clearing and settlement schemes is highly beneficial.
A candidate must also have a solid understanding of cloud-based data platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Looker and QlikSense is a valuable asset. These tools help analyze and visualize data, making them essential for effective decision-making in payment processing environments.
Strong documentation skills are a important requirement for this role. A candidate must be able to create and maintain essential documents such as user stories, process workflows, and data mappings. Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence is necessary for managing and documenting requirements efficiently. These tools are widely used in project management and collaboration, ensuring seamless communication among different teams.
