TCS HackQuest is for 2025 Graduates Show Cybersecurity Skill

Introduction :

This contest is based on popular ‘Catch the Flag’ (CTF) format and it gives participants a 6 hours to complete a set of challenges. These challenges are divided into three sections: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. The participants are free to select challenges from different categories and are encouraged to attempt as many as they can to show their skills in tackling various scenarios. The goal is to test candidates problem-solving abilities and knowledge in cybersecurity.

At the end of the contest, top performing candidates will be rewarded with special prizes. Additionally, outstanding candidates may receive potential job offers from TCS for roles in their cybersecurity department. This contest is designed not only to challenge the candidates but also to identify talent that can excel in cybersecurity and contribute to the industry’s future.

By offering challenges at different difficulty levels, the contest gives an opportunity for candidates with varying skill levels to compete and learn. The experience will help participants to improve their technical skills and demonstrate their expertise to potential employers

 

Eligibility :

This contest is open to a candidates who are enrolled in any reputed college, university, or academic institute in India and are set to graduate in the academic year 2025. To be eligible to participate, a candidate must be pursuing one of the following degrees :

  • Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)
  • Master of Technology (M. Tech)
  • Master of Engineering (M.E.)
  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.)
  • Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.)
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. / B.S.)
  • Master of Science (M.Sc. / M.S.)

This contest provides an opportunity for a candidate in various fields of study to demonstrate their skills, especially in cybersecurity, and compete in challenges designed to test their problem-solving abilities. TCS HackQuest is for 2025 Graduates to Show their Cybersecurity Skill | Process :

This contest will be conducted in two rounds. The first round, i.e. “Round 1”, is an online Catch the Flag (CTF) competition, where all the participants can join. Based on their performance, a candidate will be shortlisted for the next round.

After Round 1, the shortlisted candidate will move to Round 2. This round will be held virtually via Microsoft TEAMS or Webex. During this round, a candidate will be required to keep their cameras on for the entire duration of the session. The company reserves the right to make changes to the platform or other aspects of Round 2 as per their discretion. Additionally, a candidate should be prepared to attend the event in person if needed. TCS will cover the travel expenses for participants who need to travel for the event.

The final round of this contest will be conducted in person at TCS premises. This will be a jury evaluation round where a candidate will be assessed by a panel. The details of this round will be shared with a candidate who qualify.

TCS may also provide remote evaluation options for a select group of a candidate from Round 1. Shortlisted participants are required to stay updated on real-time announcements regarding the dates, format, and other important details of Round 2. It is the responsibility of the candidate is to track these updates and ensure they follow the instructions to participate accordingly.

By following the outlined process, a candidate will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and advance through the rounds for a chance at prizes and potential job offers.
