Automotive | Roles and Responsibility :

A candidates will be responsible for developing software for various automotive systems, including Infotainment, Navigation, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). A candidates will be responsible for analyze user needs to define software design and performance requirements. By conducting thorough testing, A candidates will identify and resolve bugs, ensuring the software meets high-quality standards.

A candidates will work closely with hardware engineers to integrate and validate both software and hardware systems seamlessly. A candidates will also perform regular updates to enhance software performance and adapt it to meet evolving vehicle requirements.

Documentation is a important part of candidate’s role, as a candidate will be creating detailed records of software functionalities to support future reference and upgrades. Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in automotive software engineering is required, allowing candidates to incorporate innovative solutions into their projects.

Embedded Systems Software Engineer  | Roles and Responsibility :

A candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and maintaining embedded software for next-generation products. A candidate will work covers various layers of the software stack, including system configuration, application software, middleware, operating system (OS) abstraction layers, and device drivers.

A candidate will analyze user needs to determine software design and performance requirements. Through rigorous testing, A candidate should identify and fix bugs to ensure the software meets high-quality standards. A candidate will work closely with hardware engineers to integrate and validate software and hardware systems, ensuring seamless functionality.

A candidate’s role involves updating the software to improve performance and adapt to changing requirements. A candidate will create detailed documentation of software functionalities to support future references, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Staying informed about the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems and automotive software engineering is required to their work, allowing them to apply innovative solutions effectively.

 

Qualification : 

The eligibility criteria for this position needs a candidate to fulfill specific educational qualifications and performance standards. A candidates must have at-least 60% marks in their 10th and 12th standard examinations. Alternatively, the equivalent CGPA, as per university guidelines, is also acceptable. A candidate who’s education is completed through open school or distance learning is permitted for 10th and 12th grades only.

For graduation, a candidate should have secured at least 60% or a CGPA equivalent to 6.0 or higher.

This opportunity is open to students who graduated in 2023 or in 2024. A candidate must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree.

Eligible branches of study involves Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), and Cyber Security.

 

Eligibility criteria: 

The eligibility criteria specify that a candidate may have only one active backlog at the time of the online assessment but must clear it before completing their 8th semester. A maximum educational gap of three years is allowed, but this applies only between the 10th grade and the start of graduation. A candidate should have no gaps during the graduation period, which must be completed within four years from its start.

A candidate must have pursued a full-time degree course by the Central or State Government of India. A candidate who wish to appear for the test process must ensure they have completed a minimum cool-off period of three months since their last assessment attempt.

The criteria also focuses on nationality requirements. A candidate must be an Indian citizens, or if a candidate hold a passport from another country, candidate must possess either a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. Bhutan and Nepal nationals are required to provide a valid citizenship certificate. Additionally, A candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.

 

Compensation : 

The compensation package for the role in Telecom, Automotive, Embedded, and CPPE (Security, Java Full Stack) for FY 25 includes an annual salary of INR 3.50 lakhs. A flat bonus of INR 25,000 will be given after six months of joining and merged into the salary after 12 months of payout. The regular yearly increments are part of the package, ensuring consistent growth. Additional bonuses will be offered at the 18th, 24th, and 36th months from the date of joining (DOJ), enhancing the overall compensation over time.

 

Wipro is hiring freshers for Project Engineer across India | Service agreement: 

The service agreement requires a candidate to commit to a period of 12 months following their joining. In case of early termination, a pro-rata amount of INR 75,000 will be applicable as per the agreement conditions.

 

Selection process :

The selection process includes multiple stages to evaluate a candidate  thoroughly.

In the first round, A candidate will take an online assessment for 128 minutes. It contains of three sections:

  • Aptitude Test: This have a logical ability, quantitative ability, and verbal (English) ability, with a duration of 48 minutes.
  • Written Communication Test: A candidates will write an essay, with a duration of 20 minutes.
  • Online Programming Test: A candidates will solve two coding problems within 60 minutes. A candidate can choose from programming languages like Java, C, C++, or Python for this section.

The second round is a Business Discussion, where a candidate’s technical and analytical skills, along with their suitability for the role, are assessed.

The third round is an HR Discussion, focusing on a candidate’s overall fit within the organization, communication skills, and other key aspects.
