Responsibilities:

A candidate will also assist in preparing accurate test estimates and detailed plans, representing the testing team during project meetings and technical discussions.

Skills:

A candidate possesses a strong understanding of Java and web applications, coupled with expertise in automated testing for GUIs, APIs/Webservices, and databases. A candidate have experience preparing automation frameworks that support parallel execution, whether on-premises or in the cloud, and integrating these frameworks seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.

A candidate’s skill set includes proficiency in Selenium-based automation tools and their ecosystem, such as TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and cross-browser testing capabilities. A candidate must have hands-on experience testing applications built using microservices architecture and cloud-based technologies, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

A candidate must be well-versed in Agile development methodologies and may have additional expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). A candidate must have demonstrated the ability to prepare proof-of-concepts (POCs) for emerging testing tools and trends, successfully implementing these advancements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

A candidate’s experience extends to service virtualization, test data management (TDM), containerization, and cloud technologies. A candidate thrive in cross-functional, matrixed environments involving diverse technologies, teams, and processes. With a strong foundation in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, candidate bring a structured approach to problem-solving.
